I personally have witnessed buyers telling me that they are interested in only 15 or 20 cents of land with a good house. There is also a common misconception among people that the earning’s in farming are far lesser when compared to the expenses incurred.

I feel the announcing of Sabrimala International Airport in Pathnamthitta district will only see the demand for real estate going up in Pathnamthitta. With the coming of an airport the city that I expect to grow in terms of infrastructure and rentals will be Kozhencherry and Maramon. The infrastructure spread in these area’s compared to the others near the airport is much better as in school’s, hospital’s, super markets, places of worship etc. The Cherukolpuzha Hindu religious meet or Maramon Convention are get togethers which brings in large number of devotees from Kerala as well as from different parts of the world.
